Dialog - name
Dialog - line
Dialog is intense punk, intellectual pop and electronic hip-hop all at once.

Almost schizophrenic with one foot in Sweden and one in the UK, two boys with computers and one voice are about to add a crazy facette to the music business - a phrenetic experience both live and on recording. Every track with dialog has an honest desperation to it, the lyrics are self-critical and spitting about surviving the middle-class dilemma.

Gothenburg meets Birmingham in a wicked, wicked waltz and the dancing never stops... It has always been a long-distance relationship, because Marcus lives, works and functions in Sweden while Johan is staying in the UK. The only way to get a collaboration like that to work over time is to have enough knowledge about the other person in the baggage.

And that‘s what they have: These two rascals have known each other since the age of thirteen: smoking cigarettes together, quit smoking together, drinking together, quit drinking together. Overall music has always been the pivotal point in their relationship though.

Before the birth of dialog, Marcus and Johan were exploring a zappaesque  world of fusion-rock and musical narcissism in the group Dadadadum. Johan‘s vocals still inherit the qualities of a strange guitar solo out of rhythm while Marcus‘ beats always have the quality of groovy commercialism with an invisible sense o depth to it.

Marcus is a part-time nurse and full-time musician: He cares for his patients the same way he puts extensive care to the sound of a Ring Modulated snare drum. Johan is a student of Composition at the Birmingham Conservatoire.
Dialog is torn between two cultures and two languages, there‘s no way out except the dialog way.
